DeCA commissaries are Government?owned and operated facilities designed to operate similar to commercial retail supermarkets, providing food items and other merchandise for resale to active?duty and retired military, and their families at a cost savings compared to the same or similar products sold in the commercial retail markets.? The Defense Commissary Agency is seeking qualified contractors for In?store Seafood Market Resale Operations to include Roadshows for eleven Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) locations at:? Maryland DeCA Commissary Locations: Andrews AFB and Fort Meade New Jersey DeCA Commissary Locations: McGuire AFB Virginia DeCA Commissary Locations: Fort Belvoir, Fort Eustis, Fort Gregg-Adams, Langley AFB, Little Creek NAVPHIBASE, Norfolk NAVSTA, and Quantico MCB Washington DC DeCA Commissary Locations: Bolling AFB ?Currently, the period of performance for the contract is projected to consist of a base period of 24 months and three 12?month option periods.? All seafood products will be procured only from Government approved sources. Approved sources are those approved by the U.S. Army Public Health Command (APHC) and posted on the APHC website.?
