Summary

AI-generated · Aug 24, 2025

Masonry repairs campus-wide at Batavia VAMC cover concrete repairs and sealant work on entrance steps of Buildings 1 and 3, plus brick wall and stone repair. The work will be described in the construction documents and photos, with the contractor required to follow the timeframe in the Statement of Work. A pre-bid site visit will be scheduled, bid bonding is required, and bids must be submitted electronically. The procurement is restricted to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and is expected to be awarded in late summer.

New information adds two related elements to the Batavia VAMC project: (1) the final solicitation for the masonry work reflects a larger project value in the mid-to-upper range and continues to be limited to SDVOSB firms, with bids due electronically; and (2) a separate Kitchen Equipment Site Prep package is included, requiring electrical, plumbing, and HVAC modifications to install a new dishwasher and booster heater, with coordination with the kitchen vendor (Ecolab) and the dishwasher/booster heater provided by others. Site visits and amendments will be issued via SAM.gov, and bid bonding remains a requirement.
