Fire Extinguisher Inspection, Certification, and Maintenance W912DR25QA009

SYNOPSIS This is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Baltimore District pre-solicitation notice for non-personnel services to provide Fire Extinguisher Inspection, certification, and Maintenance at various Washington Aqueducts Water treatment Plant Facilities in the Washington, DC region. The anticipated contract will have a Base year and Four (4) Option Years of 12 months each. This action will be 100% set aside for small business. This is a synopsis of the requirement ONLY. An official Request for Quotes (RFQ) is anticipated to be posted in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE, https://piee.eb.mil) and https://SAM.gov on or around 30 June 2025. The anticipated period of performance is one base year plus four option years.

The Washington Aqueduct serves clean and safe drinking water to one million citizens of the District of Columbia and a portion of Northern Virginia. The Washington Aqueduct currently has 247 extinguishers in various locations and buildings that are within a 10 mile radius of the Dalecarlia Water Treatment Plant. These fire extinguishers need to be maintained and inspected per National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) standards.
