DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 36C24726Q0186 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), for temporary lodging services for Birmingham VA Medical Center. This acquisition is set-aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 721110 is assigned to this requirement with a small business size standard of $40.0 million. The FSC/PSC is V231. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Birmingham VA Medical Center located at 700 19th St S, Birmingham AL 35233, requires overnight hotel/motel lodging services to provide easier access to medical care to eligible veteran beneficiaries that live outside of the local commuting area. Amendment 0001 is hereby issued to correct the period of performance dates listed in the PWS. Paragraph 3 is updated to read as follow: Scope: The Contractor shall provide hotel/motel lodging services to VA referred Veteran beneficiaries and accompanying individuals of the veterans, hereafter referred to as Beneficiaries , that are authorized overnight lodging under the Hoptel Program. All required services are specified below and must be provided in accordance with the terms and conditions stated herein. This requirement is for a firm-fixed price award, with a period of performance of one base year and four, one-year option periods, with the option to extend services up to six months. Base Period: 02/23/2026 02/22/2027 Option Year 1: 02/23/2027 02/22/2028 Option Year 2: 02/23/2028 02/22/2029 Option Year 3: 02/23/2029 02/22/2030 Option Year 4: 02/23/2030 02/22/2031 There are no additional changes to this solicitation as a result of this amendment.
