This is a sources sought announcement in accordance with FAR 15.201 and DFARS 210.001 in anticipation of a potential future procurement program. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is conducting market research to determine industry capability and interest in performing the FY26 Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA) Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) availability of the USS WICHITA (LCS 13) and USS THOMAS HUDNER (DDG 116) under a single solicitation. NAVSEA is especially interested in determining small business capability and interest. IAW with 10 USC 8669a, and associated Department of Navy ship depot maintenance policy, the Department of the Navy is seeking expressions of interest in accomplishing the USS WICHITA (LCS 13) FY26 DSRA and USS THOMAS HUDNER (DDG 116) FY26 DSRA with place of performance within an area concentrically located to Naval Station Mayport, Jacksonville, FL. The area to be considered will concentrically expand outward from Naval Station Mayport, Jacksonville, FL until expressions of interest from two or more qualified offerors, as determined by the procuring Contracting Officer, are received. The Government is seeking responses from sources that can perform dry-docking and pier-side maintenance, repair, and modernization for a FREEDOM Class LCS 5 variant, using a MIL-STD-1625D (SH) NAVSEA-certified drydock, and modernization for an Arleigh Burke-class Guided Missile Destroyer (DDG), using a MIL-STD-1625D (SH) NAVSEA-certified drydock. USS WICHITA (LCS 13) FY26 DSRA: 01 June 2026 - 15 January 2027 (subject to change) USS THOMAS HUDNER (DDG 116) FY26 DSRA: 26 June 2026 - 31 May 2027 (subject to change) Background: This availability will be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract under the cognizance of NAVSEA. What is your corporate experience performing LCS and DDG availabilities or comparable US Navy work within the past 3 years? Summarize.
