JAMES has found both Port and Starboard Propeller Pitch to be programmed incorrectly. This causes engine speed to not match desired speed for the cutter and will not make full speed. Rolls Royce Solutions America is needed to adjust these settings and get underway to verify proper set points are correct. 1. Scope. Kongsberg certified Tech Rep to repair the port and starboard pitch mapping to the engine RPM Provide onsite troubleshooting and HP Mapping of controls systems, alongside MTU Engineer Provide a technical expertise to gain max speed for the cutter of 26kts. Disembark with Vessel for additional testing, troubleshooting, & Mapping while underway Provide a Trip report once completed. 2. GFE: NA 3. Tasks. The contractor shall provide technical expertise for the repair pitch and engine speed controls to the proper settings. 4. Delivery. The contractor shall provide a final report within 3 days of the contract period of performance. 5. Place of performance- CGC JAMES at the Pier in North Charleston South Carolina.
