U.S. Embassy Madrid - Boiler upgrade project
Description
The solicitation is not ready for issuance as of this date, and no responses are requested at this time. The Government plans to issue the solicitation in July 2025, and it will be published on SAM.gov once available. The solicitation pertains to the replacement of hot water pumps and manifolds in the Chancery subbasement at the U.S. Embassy in Madrid, Spain. The Contractor will be required to provide all managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel necessary to perform the services outlined in the contract. Details regarding the final performance period will be included in the solicitation. Additionally, the Government is planning a site visit to inspect the work area; the date and details of the site visit will be provided in the solicitation. The Government intends to award a firm fixed-price contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable, responsible offeror. The Government reserves the right to award the contract based on initial offers without discussions. In accordance with DOSAR 652.242-73, Authorization and Performance (AUG 1999), all contractors must possess the necessary permits and licenses to conduct business in Spain. Offerors will be required to provide proof of these permits as part of their submission. Furthermore, all contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (https://www.sam.gov) prior to contract award, as required by FAR provision 52.204-7.
