The Embassy of the United States in Turkmenistan will launch the solicitation on https://sam.gov/ websites when it is available. No paper copies will be mailed. The U.S. Embassy in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, is going to procure a Swimming Pool Maintenance Service. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. The Government plans to issue the solicitation on August 5, 2025. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register PRIOR TO THE SUBMITTAL OF QUOTATIONS/PROPOSALS.

The U.S. Embassy Ashgabat, Turkmenistan requires Swimming Pool Maintenance Services. The Contractor shall provide full maintenance for the outdoor swimming pool during the active swimming season as well as the winterization period. The swimming pool is located at the New Embassy Compound (NEC) on Archabil 28. Contractor services shall include: General cleaning of the swimming pool and adjacent areas Maintaining the proper chemical balance of pool water Performing and reporting water quality test results We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although discussions may be conducted with companies in the competitive range if necessary. Proposals must be submitted in English. Incomplete proposals will not be accepted. Offerors are required to submit a portfolio demonstrating at least five years of relevant experience and performance.
