The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. VHA RPO West NCO 17 Health Care Resources Branch is planning to solicit for a vendor who can provide four (4) to (5) gastroenterology physician services. Services Required: The Contractor shall provide Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterology (GI) Physician Services on site in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS), Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center. Place of performance: Contractor shall furnish services at any of the following locations depending on the needs of the STVHCS. Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center, 7400 Merton Minter Street, San Antonio, TX 78229-4404 Kerrville VA Medical Center, 3600 Memorial Boulevard, Kerrville, TX 78028-5768. VHA RPO West NCO 17 Health Care Resources Branch is conducting a market survey to determine the existence of potential small business concerns (e.g., HUBZone, 8(a), SDVOSB, Woman Owned, etc.) with the capability to fulfill this acquisition. No questions will be answered if submitted. Type of Contract: If this sources sought notice leads to a future solicitation, the Government intends to award a fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. The performance period shall be one (1) base year plus four one-year options. The proposed NAICS Code is 621111, Office of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists) Interested parties shall provide a brief overview of their firm's capabilities and experience with projects similar in scope to this project. All information shall be submitted in Word or PDF format, not to exceed 10 pages, including all attachments. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), intends to enter into an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology and provide Gastroenterology Physician Services on site in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS), Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center. The intended term of contract is for one (1) base year plus four (4) one-year opts if the requirement continues to exist. Solicitation documents are anticipated to be available February 27, 2026, or shortly thereafter and will be posted via the System for Award Management (SAM) website. Prospective Offerors should not expect notification of issuance of amendments other than via the SAM website and are responsible for obtaining all amendments as posted. Prior to submission of a quote, Offerors are expected to read the solicitation documentation in its entirety to fully understand the scope of work and terms and conditions of the requirement.
