The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of current market conditions relative to NAICS 621111 Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists) with a size standard $16 million. The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), Network Contracting Office 23 (NCO 23), on behalf of Minneapolis VA Health Care System (MVAHCS), Minneapolis, MN is seeking to identify any vendors capable of providing contractual services of Cardiovascular Perfusionists services to eligible veteran beneficiaries of the MVAHCS. The period of performance will be one (1) twelve-month base period, and four (4) twelve-month option periods. Background: Pursuant to the Veterans First Contracting Program, the VA is trying to ascertain if there are qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) with the capability of providing the below services (Respondents are not limited to SDVOSB/VOSB concerns; the Government seeks to identify ALL potentially interested sources): Services Provided: The contractor shall provide the Minneapolis VA Health Care System (MVAHCS) contractual services for an American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusionists to provide clinical perfusion services coverage to eligible veteran beneficiaries of the MVAHCS. Perfusionist services are required on-site daily, Monday through Friday; On-call coverage is required. One key personnel are required to be onsite 52 weeks per year, Monday Friday; excluding federal holidays. Contract Type and Term: The VA will award a firm, fixed-price commercial services contract. Contract use will be limited to the Minneapolis VA Medical Center only; no other VAMC may use this contract. The Base twelve-month period of the contract shall begin March 1, 2026 with options to extend the contract for additional twelve-month periods, at the discretion of the VA, for up to four (4) additional twelve-month periods. Scope of Services Provided: The MVAHCS requires the services of experienced, practicing Clinical Perfusionists to provide direct patient care for the management of physiological and metabolic needs of surgical patients during cardiovascular surgical procedures including coronary by-pass; extracorporeal support functions; heart failure therapy and support; blood management; other clinical perfusion procedures as required; and on-call coverage. It is estimated that contractor s clinical perfusion services will be required for an estimated 3,276 hours of on-site services per year, and an estimated 1,632 hours of on-call coverage per year. Back-up coverage is required for MVAHCS staff vacation and leave coverage. Responses to this source sought notice must include the following information. 1.
