The requirement is to obtain food services program for U.S. Government Kathmandu Post for Marine Security Guards at the Marine Security Guard Residence (MSGR). The Contractor shall provide all necessary managerial, administrative and direct labor personnel as well as all transportation to perform the Services. Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. US Embassy Nepal will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with two one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.

Enclosed is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the Marine Security Guard Residence (MSGR) Cook Services at Embassy Properties. If you would like to submit quotation, follow the instructions in Section 3 of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form 1449 that follows this letter. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. The Embassy intends to conduct a pre-quotation conference at the site, The pre-quotation conference will be held on 16-Apr-2026 (1000 Hrs Kathmandu local time) at the US Embassy Nepal, Maharajgunj, Kathmandu.
