AI-generated · Aug 24, 2025

NIH Clinical Center plans to obtain a membership in the Maryland Hospital Association to access its services, which support Maryland hospitals and health systems through collective action on policies, financing, and performance improvement. The MHA represents a broad mix of hospitals and health facilities, and its alignment with the American Hospital Association is expected to provide NIH Clinical Center with valuable resources and advocacy that benefit patient care and organizational leadership.

This is a sole-source action under 41 U.S.C. 1901(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1, not a request for proposals. If another responsible source believes it can meet the requirement, it may submit a capability statement for consideration, referencing NOI-CC-25-008192; the Statement of Work contains the detailed requirements.

The NIH Clinical Center needs this membership to benefit from the services provided by the organization. Justification: The Maryland Hospital Association is allied with the American Hospital Association. As a result hospitals in Maryland are able to benefit from the resources and services provided by both organizations. MHA is an effective advocate for improving health care across Maryland. The NIH Clinical Center s membership in this organization provides tremendous benefit to patient care and the organizations leadership. Requirement: See Statement of Work (SOW) for details. The statutory authority for this sole source requirement is 41 U.S.C. 1901 (a) (1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1 only one responsible source and no other supply of service will satisfy agency requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. All responsible sources that could provide the required may submit a capability statement that will be considered by email (subject line to reference NOI-CC-25-008192) by 12:00 PM eastern standard time on 08/06/2025 to: valerie.gregorio@nih.gov All responses received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
