A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a fixed price purchase order to Bethesda-Cevy Chase Orthopedic Associates, located at 10215 Fernwood Rd, STE 506, Bethesda, MD, on a firm fixed price sole source award basis to provide professional orthopedic surgical consultation services to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center (CC). The market research demonstrates that Bethesda-Chevy Chase Orthopedic Associates, LLC is the only vendor in the marketplace capable of meeting the NIH Clinical Center's unique requirements for 24/7 orthopedic consultation services. The combination of geographic proximity, specialized clinical expertise, 24/7 availability, established NIH credentialing, and proven past performance creates a highly specialized requirement that effectively limits competition.
