Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source to Zapata Technology for licenses and professional services to support the configuration and integration of these tools into the existing architecture of the Logistics Information Technology (LOG IT) Infrastructure and Integration Team. This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacifics intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a non-competitive basis Zapata Technology (UEI: DBXFMY56RK33, CAGE Code 4VC65) of 1450 Greene Street, Suite 500, Augusta, GA 30901.Period of Performance (PoP): DOA ? 12 months Estimated Price: $500K The Government intends to negotiate solely with Zapata Technology under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The applicable NAICS Code is 541512 Computer Systems Integrator Services, and the business size standard is $34,000,000.Zapata Technology will help expand the integration of Apache NiFi, MongoDB, and Grafana to enable seamless interoperability with the Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM) system. Zapata Technology will provide remote professional services to support the configuration and integration of these tools into the existing architecture. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement may submit a capability statement to be considered by the Government. All responses received before the close date may be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government intends to post their area of interest (AOI) under NAVWARs Commercial Solutions Offering (CSO), articulating the current need and desired end-goal in generic terms to pursue a prototype Other Transaction Authority (OTA) in 2026 or 2027. To query the commercial marketplace for middleware solutions that better satisfies the Navys need. This requirement has potential to scale up to ~ $10M per year when the Navy chooses a middleware solution to deploy across the Navy for their various systems. Until then, the Navy will continue to test and explore alternatives that have potential to support the current middleware needs.
