MQ-9A Unmanned Air System (UAS) Engineering Logistics Support (ELS) Follow-on Contract N0001925F0024

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded a sole-source order to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc (GA-ASI) for the procurement of Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) UAS Expeditionary Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MUX/MALE) Engineering Logistics Support (ELS) services and sustainment of the United States Marine Corps (USMC) MQ-9A UAS over the course of two (2) years. This includes, but is not limited to, program management support, spares analyst, logistics support and services, engineering support and services, non-standard maintenance, engineering investigation and mishap investigation support, configuration change management support, production and sustainment Diminishing Manufacturing Supply and Material Shortage (DMSMS) support, airworthiness certification support, cybersecurity and network support, software modification and maintenance support, mission system / sensor payload modification integration solutions and support, Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) analysis, trade studies and data management. This acquisition was awarded on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The determination by the Government not to compete this effort was solely within the discretion of the Government.
