MARMC Messing and Berthing Barges Program YR-29 N5005426F2033

Support the sustainment of the USS Albany (CA-123) under the Year 29 program, spanning a range of maintenance, calibration, inspection, and operation tasks for ship systems and living spaces. Activities include accountability of manhours and material reservations; calibrating and certifying the Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) alarm system; inspecting and certifying the fire and flood alarm system; calibrating the refrigerant monitoring system; cleaning, inspecting, testing, and preserving the HVAC system; inspecting and certifying the Gaylord Hood System; completing habitability installation; providing calibration services; completing the Barge Systems Check Off List; addressing funding-related work item 992-16-001 Funimgation; cleaning and pumping; barge cleaning during availability; and controlling hazardous waste produced on the naval vessel.

Purpose is to maintain safety, environmental compliance, and habitability by performing these maintenance, testing, and certification tasks across critical shipboard systems during the program scope.
