LSD-47 20 GALLON AND 40 GALLON KETTLE; REPLACE N6264926QRUSHKETTLE

Replace two galley kettles (20-gallon and 40-gallon) on USS RUSHMORE (LSD-47) during a ship availability in Japan, with work performed at Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS) in Japan. The upcoming competitive solicitation will be issued to Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) and capable Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) holders who are authorized to operate in Japan, i.e., Japan-based MSRA/ABR contractors only. Vendors must meet the eligibility criteria and provide documentation demonstrating authorization to perform work in Japan.

This notice is a presolicitation synopsis and not a solicitation or contract award. The government will issue the actual solicitation later, and potential bidders must demonstrate they are authorized to work in Japan under MSRA or ABR and provide the required authorization documentation. The period of performance will be defined in the forthcoming solicitation.
