Description of Requirement The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for a contractor provide all labor, tools, materials and marine repair resources for 6000-hr main engine and turbocharger maintenance services for the R/V Kaho's two (2) MTU 8V-2000 diesel engines, serial numbers 531101413 and 531101414 in accordance with the attached solicitation. 2. Applicable Regulations This acquisition will be conducted under FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). 3.
