MCIEAST Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, seeks qualified vendors to provide Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Fire Extinguishers to be serviced aboard MCAS Cherry Point; to execute the Base and Command s mission in accordance with the draft Performance Work Statement provided. This is a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought only. This is not a Request for Quote or Proposal. There is no solicitation available at this time. The RFI is issued for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The submission of information is for planning purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any items or services. The draft of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached. The information will not be returned, and no compensation will be provided from any response to this announcement. Proprietary information and trade secrets, if any, must be clearly marked. All information received that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. The contractor will provide all parts, tools, equipment, supplies, labor, and transportation necessary for the inspection, maintenance, recharging, testing, and disposal of fire extinguishers. The proposed action is set-aside for Total 100% Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811310. Contractors interested in doing business with the government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Contractors must also be registered in the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) invoicing system at https://piee.eb.mil in order to invoice the Government and accept payment. The complete Request for Quotation, including a detailed Performance Work Statement is attached. All responsible small business sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.
