The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Europe District is considering issuing a solicitation for a new (not a reprocurement) Design-Build Single-Award Task-Order Contract (DB SATOC) for construction projects in Bavaria and Hessen, Germany. The DB SATOC may have a five-year ordering period with a maximum capacity of $49M, and task orders for construction projects may be between 100,000 and 5,000,000 each. The solicitation may use the two-phase design-build procedures of FAR 16.5, FAR 36.3, and other regulations and supplements PROJECT DESCRIPTION The DB SATOC is intended to provide a quick response for facility repair, renovation, conversion, alteration, additions, construction, and the procurement/installation of equipment for minor construction, in support of the US Army Garrisons in the states of Bavaria and Hessen in Germany.
