The services to be provided within this Statement of Work (SOW) consist of clearing scenic vistas, hazard trees along the Great Smoky Mts. NP at designated locations in Tennessee and North Carolina. Contractor shall identify, cut and remove encroaching brush, trees, and limbs as designated to clear/reopen the road prism to clear vegetation from roadside waterways, open shoulders and clear zones and provide appropriate clearance for travel lanes and mow zones. This shall include removing previously fallen trees and limbs. Because of existing vistas/overlooks, open clearings, and requirements for developed areas, the amount of work needed in each area can fluctuate between intensive and minimal.
