FY26 Fire Control Omnibus Contract N0003026C1005

The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) has awarded a contract on a sole-source basis to General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) (CAGE 3CX85), located in Pittsfield, MA, for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026-2027 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control Subsystem (FCS) development, production, sustainment, modernization, repair, installation, training and technical engineering services support for the U.S. SSBN, UK SSBN, and SSGN fleets. The contract contains Level-of-Effort (LOE) and Completion Line items on a Cost-Plus-Incentive-Fee (CPIF), Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) and Cost-Only basis with an expected completion date of June 1, 2033. The award date was January 29, 2026. GDMS is the only known source with the requisite design background, system knowledge and operational experience relative to the TRIDENT II Fire Control Subsystem and Advanced Weapon Control System capable of providing the required efforts within existing technical, cost and fleet schedule constraints. GDMS is the only known source with the requisite design background, system knowledge and operational experience relative to the TRIDENT II Fire Control Subsystem capable of providing the required efforts within existing technical, cost and fleet schedule constraints.
