FY 25 Wax Plant Electrical Upgrades , B3566 W912PL25RA015

Design Build construction project to complete D-B drawings from 65% to 100% and furnish all materials and labor necessary to install three (3) Wax Mixing, Melting, and Pouring Systems (WMMPS) and two (2) conditioning chambers at Building 3566, Yuma Proving Grounds (YPG). The WMMPS and chambers will be configured primarily to support wax loading of projectile and mortar bodies. The new equipment will replace steam injection with electric resistive heating to directly heat the wax equipment. The current wax equipment, fuel tank, steam generators, and all associated piping shall be removed and disposed. The contractor will increase the available power to accommodate increased demands for electrical service inside of the facility

PIEE update 0001 is issued to transmit the SF30 (754 pages) of Amendment 0001 for the RFP W912PL25RA015. Amendment 0001 does not extend proposal due date. The purpose of this amendment is to remove and replace pages 28-29 (Amendment 0001, Division 01); remove pages 33-39 (Amendment 0001, Division 01); remove and replace page 131 (Amendment 0001, Division 01); remove and replace page 163 (Amendment 0001, Division 01); remove and replace page 169 (Amendment 0001, Division 01). This amendment will also add B3566 As-Builts, add B3566 Fuel Tank photos, and add USACE Site Pics 07212025.

THIS AMENDMENT WILL ALSO RESCOPE THE REQUIREMENT FOR WAX PLANT ELECTRICAL UPGRADES, B3566. THE CONSTRUCTION PORTION, CLIN 0002, OF THE PRICE SCHEDULE WILL BE CHANGED AND SOME OF THE REQUIREMENTS WILL BE BROKEN OUT INTO OPTIONS. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED SUMMARY FOR AMENDMENT 0003 FOR DETAILS.
