Notice of Intent: The Health Readiness Contracting Office (HRCO), Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, TX intends to award a modification to firm fixed price IDIQ bridge contract (W81K0425DA004) on a sole source basis to the incumbent contractor Chenega Tri-Services, LLC. 5253 Prue Road Suite 230, San Antonio, TX 78240, utilizing the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204 (c)(1). This modification to the current contract will provide additional labor hours ONLY (the Period of Performance will remain unchanged). This requirement will continue to provide Fee Basis Providers (FBP) services to the United States Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) to medically qualify applicants for military service. The USMEPCOM screens and processes applicants into the United States armed Forces at 65 Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) and one remote processing station. The FBP services to MEPCOM consist of medical prescreening and examinations in accordance with DoD accession medical standards DHA PM 6025.13 vol 4 and US MEPCOM Regulations 40-1 Medical Qualification Program and 40-2 Medical Services Provider Quality Management Program. The FBPs must be a qualified medical doctor, Doctor of Osteopathy, Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner, with expert knowledge in the medical qualification requirements stated in DHA PM 6025.13 vol 4 and US MEPCOM Regulations 40-1 Medical Qualification Program and 40-2 Medical Services Provider Quality Management Program. The Fee Basis Provider Defined Provider Category level 4 physician must be privileged/approved by the USMEPCOM Command Surgeon/J7/Medical Director. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and a solicitation will not be published. This notice of intent notifies industry that a J&A is forthcoming to allow the Government to Increase the ceiling on the current IDIQ contract due to additional labor hours needed ONLY.
