Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Server Support FA489025C0017

The Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Server Support contract provides 10 cor and 1 optiona FTEs with a four-month base period and four 12-month option periods to provide engineering and IT support to the DCGS system. This contract was not awarded competitively and is not fixed-price. It is an 8(a) Native Hawaiian Owned sole source contract awarded to JBW FEDITC JV LLC. A firm fixed price level of effor (FFP-LOE) term contract was considered appropriate for this procurement because the work to be performed cannot be clearly identified. However, the required level of effort can be identified and there is reasonable assurance taht the intended performance cannot be obtained for less than the negotiated effort. Appropriate Government surveillance is in place to ensure that effective methods for cost control and labor efficiency are being used. This contract arrangement and type is considered in the best interest of the Government.
