Type of Contract & NAICS: This Acquisition is being solicited using FAR Part 14, Sealed Bid Procedures for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. Description of Work: This is a new requirement to Construct a Consolidated Parachute Rigging Facility at Hunter Army Airfield, GA. The project includes parachute drying tower, packing lanes, overhead crane, parachute repair room, supply rooms, storage areas, and a classroom. Built-in building systems include fire alarm/mass notification, fire suppression, HVAC, energy management control system, electrical systems, communications networks, cable TV, intrusion detection, closed circuit surveillance, and electronic access control systems. Supporting facilities include site preparation, utilities, vehicle parking, access drives, curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm drainage, landscaping, and other site improvements. This project is fully designed, and all technical specifications and drawings are provided on PIEE. In accordance with FAR 52.222-33 Notice of Requirement for Project Labor Agreement Alternate I, a PLA shall be submitted by the apparent low bidder prior to award, after bid opening and will be reviewed for compliance with all statutes, regulations, Executive orders, and agency/contract requirements.
