AWARD DECISION 12445525C0022: MOF Monongahela National Forest Canaan Mtn FR-13 Background: The Monongahela National Forest wishes to order the removal of culvert, install new culverts, construct spec ditches, construct lead off ditches, grade road, fill road to elevate roadbed for positive drainage, and construct head walls as specified in plans. The purpose of this contract is to fix drainage problem areas due to the2023 May flood event. The project shall consist of Decision: Meadows Excavation and Landscaping Inc. maintains an active registration in www.sam.gov; they have a highly favorable performance record in CPARS; they have no debarments, suspensions, or federal tax delinquencies; and are otherwise eligible to receive this BPA (see full responsibility determination on file). Based off adequate competition the pricing has been determined fair and reasonable at time of award for 12445525C0022. Market conditions since contract award do not trend towards reductions in pricing: and the minimal quantities required, would not favor the possibility of bulk discount(s). There were 4 bids received with Meadows Excavation and Landscaping Inc. coming in with the lowest.
