Notice of Intent to Award a Sole-Source Contract Announcement Number: REQUIREMENTS-25-2173 Project Title: La Jolla Fire Suppression System Repairs and Replacement The US Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Western Acquisition Division (WAD), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with HurtVet Subcontracting LLC using the procedures in FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services in conjunction with FAR Subpart 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services., to provide fire suppression system repairs and replacement at the Southwest Fisheries Science Center in La Jolla, California. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is FAR 13.501(a) and FAR 6.302-5(b)(6), Authorized or required by statute, Sole source awards under the Veterans Benefits Act of 2003 (15 U.S.C. 657f). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 238990, with a business size standard of $19.0M. This notice of intent is not a formal solicitation or request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. No award will be made on the basis of quotations or offers received in response to this notice.
