OVERVIEW The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6 is conducting market research to identify potential sources for construction services to repair or modify fuel storage tanks and related equipment at the Salem VA Medical Center, 1970 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153. The attached Statement of Work, Drawing and Specifications are draft documents and are subject to change prior to release of a solicitation. SCOPE OF WORK This project includes testing of underground and above ground fuel storage tanks, as well as demolition of underground tanks, testing requirements and installation/modification of fuel tank monitoring equipment located at the Salem VA Medical Center. All work will be performed at the Salem VA Medical Center, 1970 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153.
