The project shall include: Demolition of the three existing boiler exhaust stacks Abatement of known and unknown asbestos and other potential hazardous materials Installation/construction of three new replacement exhaust stacks, supporting structural steel tower and foundation. Installation involves structural steel fabrication that requires 3rd party NYS special inspection during construction. Services shall be performed by a general contractor with experience and expertise in the demolition and construction/installation of institutional boiler exhaust stacks and supporting structural steel tower.
