OVERVIEW The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6 is conducting market research to identify potential sources for construction services to replace a fire pump controller and related equipment at the Salem VA Medical Center, 1970 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153. The attached Statement of Work and Specifications are draft documents and are subject to change prior to release of a solicitation. SCOPE OF WORK This project includes the replacement of the Fire Pump Controller, Jockey Pump, and associated components in Building 143 at the Salem VA Medical Center. These upgrades are required to maintain compliance with NFPA 20, NFPA 101, and VA safety and operational standards. The service location is the Salem VA Medical Center, 1970 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153.
