The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), St. Cloud Health Care System, St. Cloud, Minnesota intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with the procedures set forth in Part 14 and 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Network Contracting Office 23 (NCO23) intends to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for completion of construction Project Number: 656-22-504 Upgrade Cable TV Infrastructure at the St. Cloud VA Health Care System, St. Cloud, MN. An IFB is planned to be issued within a month of this pre-solicitation notice, with an award date within 90 calendar days from bid opening date. Further details of all dates, events, and locations, including site visit and bid due date, will be available in the solicitation. The Contractor for this project shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to accomplish the project in accordance with the specifications and contract drawings. Work will include the complete removal of the existing CATV Coaxial system including splitters, amplifiers coaxial cable and supporting infrastructure from its point of origin to all termination points throughout the St. Cloud VA Medical Center. Additionally, the contractor shall complete the installation of a new CAT 6A CATV infrastructure extending from point of origin as detailed in the drawings and extending to the final point of use. The contractor shall include all necessary system equipment and infrastructure to ensure a functional CATV system at completion of this contract. This contract will require work to be completed in occupied buildings necessitating the need for a comprehensive construction schedule and coordination plan. The period of performance for this work is three hundred and forty-five (345) calendar days from issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP).
