Summary

AI-generated · Mar 17, 2026

Restore critical waterborne safety and security barriers at Hoover Dam through a sole-source construction contract to replace the Riverside downstream vessel barrier and install the Lakeside upstream vessel exclusion gate and boom line repair. Tasks include delivering and installing a new barrier system with floats, connectors, hardware, and a boat access gate compatible with Hoover Dam operations, plus installing a Government-furnished Tuffboom gate assembly, inspecting and repairing the upstream boom line connection, and certifying that the entire vessel exclusion system is operational. The existing gate has failed and is currently secured only by a temporary mechanism, creating an immediate safety and security risk.

Sole-source procurement for Worthington Products, LLC, the original equipment manufacturer for the installed ODINFloat and Tuffboom components, to provide OEM-compatible components, proprietary connections, and OEM-certified installation to ensure structural integrity, safety compliance, and system interoperability. Capability statements are invited from all responsible sources, demonstrating the ability to install and repair Worthington ODINFloat and Tuffboom systems, experience in fast-water or dam-related construction, and the ability to meet Hoover Dam security requirements.
