Identify contractors with the capability to perform non-invasive helium-based leak detection for a geothermal heating and cooling system at Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site in St. Louis, MO. The project involves locating a leak estimated at about 40 gallons per day, currently isolated to one of five system laterals (the lateral is disabled) with the possibility that the leak is within the lateral or in one of five vertical bores. The lateral runs approximately 80 yards in length; all laterals, vertical bore heads, and interfaces sit at least 5 feet below ground surface, and individual bores cannot be isolated. The recommended method is non-invasive helium leak detection.
