The type of solicitation to issue will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made by the Government for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis of a follow up information. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small business (SDVOSB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small business (EDWOSB), and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price contract. The National Park Service, ConOps West, has a requirement to Replace the Volcano House Fire Suppression System at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (HAVO). Work will consist of the following: This project is to replace the existing fire suppression system in the 1877 Volcano House, currently being used as an art gallery. Place of performance will be Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (HAVO). The acquisition is subject to the North American industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS code is $19M. Vendors responding to this sources sought notice should include the following information: 1. Company name, address, UEI number, point of contact, telephone number and email address. 2. Examples of relevant experience performing similar projects to demonstrate capability (at a minimum, include a brief description of project, project dates, and customer name/agency) 3. Synopsis, The National Park Service, ConOps West, has a requirement to Replace the Volcano House Fire Suppression System, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (HAVO) Work to include: This project is to replace the existing fire suppression system in the 1877 Volcano House. The acquisition is subject to the North American industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238220 with a size standard of $19M. This acquisition will be handled as an IFB (Sealed Bid) prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subparts 14 and 36. This project will be solicited as 100% small business set-aside. A single firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. Place of performance will be Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (HAVO). The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued on/or about 11 Feb 2026 and will be posted to SAM.gov. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies of the solicitation. REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have a Unique Entity ID (UEI).
