No bids are being requested or accepted from this announcement. THIS IS NOT A SOLICICTATION FOR BIDS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The type of solicitation to issue will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made by the Government for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis of a follow up information. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price contract. The National Park Service, ConOps West, has a requirement to Replace Existing Roof at HQ-5 and HQ-13/15 at Haleakala National Park (HALE), Hawaii. Scope of Work: The Work consists of Replacing the Roof at HQ-5 and HQ-13/15: The purpose of this project is the in-kind replacement and restoration of approximately 3,500 square feet of corrugated metal roof. The proposed work will include inspection and documentation of existing roof component conditions; removal of existing corrugated metal roof; removal of defective sheathing; installation of new sheathing; installation of new roofing underlayment; in-kind (match as closely as possible to the original appearance) replacement of roof and associated work. Place of performance will be Haleakala National Park (HALE), Hawaii. The acquisition is subject to the North American industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS code is $45M. Vendors responding to this sources sought notice should include the following information: 1. This project will be solicited as 100% small business set-aside. A single firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The project magnitude is $100,000 to $250,000.
