PLACE OF PERFORMANCE COUNTRY: USA TITLE OF PROJECT: GRBA - Lehman Cave Lighting, Electrical, and Telecommunications System Replacement/Upgrade GENERAL: The National Park Service (NPS), Department of Interior (DOI), ConOps West, is soliciting proposals on a full and open basis from all interested businesses having the capability to perform the work described below. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Systems for Awards Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. PROPOSED SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE: Estimated on/about July 30, 2025 NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE AND SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS Code for this requirement is 236220 with a size standard of $45 million. DESCRIPTION: The National Park Service, Contracting Operation West, is seeking a qualified construction firm for the replacement of the lighting system and electrical components in Lehman Cave. The cave has walking paths mile long that are illuminated by trail lighting and feature lighting components. The cave lighting system components also include wiring, panelboards, transformers, outlets, switches etc. New lighting is to be marine or cave quality LED lighting with durable, non-corrosive stainless-steel components. Replacement of cables/conduits in walkway will require repair of walkway prior to close of project. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. ESTIMATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 183 calendar days SET ASIDE: This acquisition has been set-aside for Total Small Business Concerns.
