The National Park Service s Gettysburg National Military Park (GETT) has a one-time requirement for a contractor to provide road painting services. The painting services include the application of markings for crosswalk, bus parking, and stop bar. The contractor shall be responsible for the preparation of the painting area to include laying out of the design, cleaning the pavement, and application of the paint within the manufacturer s specifications for application, as well as traffic control of the painted area until the paint is dry and can sustain vehicular traffic. GENERAL: This is a NEW requirement. This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE only and does not constitute a solicitation; accordingly, no response is due at this time. The general scope of work includes: Crosswalk Install 6 wide Longitudinal Bar Crosswalk across roadway at intersection of Wheatfield Rd and Sedgwick and Sykes Ave., allowing safe crossing from gravel parking area to trailhead. Stop Bar Install a 24 wide Stop Bar that spans the entire length of the roadway at the intersection of Hancock Ave and Cyclorama Drive. This work will involve extension of an existing 10 long stop bar. Buses Only Lettering Install white lettering 12 high designating the 7 bus sized parking spaces with BUSES ONLY in the parking area on Little Round Top (Sykes Ave.) PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Gettysburg National Military Park (GETT) PROCUREMENT TYPE: The Government anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed price contract award from the solicitation under FAR 12.207 (a). The Source Selection will be conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures using FAR 15.101-2 Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process, as authorized by FAR 13.106-1 (a)(2)(v). SET-ASIDE: This acquisition will be a 100% Small Business Set-aside. Offers will only be accepted from small business concerns.
