The Government intends to use responses to this sources sought synopsis to make appropriate acquisition decisions for future dredge maintenance requirements. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Portland District is requesting your help in identifying dredges with the capability and availability to respond to critical dredging work required for the Yaquina River Clamshell Dredging 2026 throughout the Yaquina River downstream of Toledo, OR via clamshell. The total approximate scope is 850,000 cubic yards depending on project needs and funding availability. In water placement is not an option. The in-water work window is 01 July 2026 - 31 October 2026. Pre-Solicitation Synopsis W9127N26BA013 Yaquina River Clamshell Dredging 2026 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Portland District intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) NO. W9127N26BA013 for Yaquina River Clamshell Dredging 2026. The dredging project includes three mandatory line items located throughout the Yaquina River downstream of Toledo, OR. Clamshell dredging is required by this contract. Material placement will be designated ocean disposal sites. The total approximate scope is 850,000 cubic yards depending on project needs and funding availability. The overall period of performance will be from 01 July 2026 through 31 October 2026 for physical completion of all work. The forthcoming solicitation is subject to the availability of funds. The solicitation will be available for download on or about 11 May 2026 with bids due 30 days after advertisement. This procurement is anticipated to be solicited as unrestricted, full and open competition. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990. The small business size standard is $37 million. The magnitude of construction is more than $10,000,000. A pre-solicitation conference is scheduled for 26 March 2026 at 9:30 am Pacific Time via Webex teleconference.
