Summary

AI-generated · Feb 12, 2026

Construct a new concrete-encased WAN duct bank for the Durham VA Health Care System, running from the property edge to Building 1 FG126. The duct bank must use 4,000-psi concrete with 36 inches of cover to the bottom of the pavement, and include installation of an electric pull box, conduits brought into the building, and testing and utility locating services. Trenching will occur across asphalt drive, sidewalk, and curb; concrete must cure before backfilling, and trench plates may be used to cover the trench when the contractor is not present (overnight/weekends). The project is anticipated to take about 133 calendar days from notice to proceed and is estimated at $25,000–$100,000 in construction value. The Government intends to award on a sole-source basis to National Project Management LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business.

Because this is a sole-source acquisition, other firms that believe they can meet the requirements may submit a capabilities statement for consideration. Statements should address: company information, business size and type, a statement of interest, and up to three examples of similar work within the past seven years, including project name, owner, scope, size, value, and dates. Submissions must be a single, electronic PDF not to exceed four pages. The Government reserves the right to pursue competition based on the capabilities statements received.
