Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Build EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades project located at Rocky Mountain VA Medical Center located at 1700 North Wheeling Street in Aurora, CO 80045-7211. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this project is to Upgrade HVAC in 5 Telcom rooms per VA EHRM standards. Work includes all aspects of design and installation including, but not limited to ducted FCU or In-room unit sizing, selection, location and installation, connection to existing chilled water, electrical, building automation and other systems, relocation or rerouting of other building systems as necessary, firestopping or other similar work, etc. Work is located on different floors of an outpatient clinic building on a hospital campus. Work will need to comply with Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) and disruptive work or utility shutdowns may need to be conducted after-hours. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Fee Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 36.3 Two-Phase Design-Build Selection Procedures and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $45 million. The solicitation will be issued at the beginning of October 2025. The period of performance is approximately 245 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
