Summary

AI-generated · Jan 29, 2026

West Los Angeles VA Medical Center is planning to establish 750–800 temporary supportive housing units on its campus. Each unit measures roughly 120–390 square feet and includes a bed, a private bathroom with shower, a kitchenette (sink, microwave, refrigerator), and HVAC. Units will be arranged around small courtyards and neighborhood support trailers for limited cooking and social activities. Site work to support sewer, water, and electric infrastructure may be included as separately priced items. The project is intended to be delivered in phased installments, with an initial set of units followed by additional groupings approximately every 90 days until all 750 units are in place; each unit can be grouped with others but must be securely usable for individual occupancy.

Respondents should provide information on their ability to support this effort, including whether they would bid as a prime contractor or subcontractor, their socio-economic status, and relevant past performance. Include a plan and timeline for delivering and installing the units in an accelerated, phased schedule, a brief narrative approach to delivery, and an assessment of Buy American compliance related to the 750-unit procurement. Additional information such as capabilities statements or product catalogs may be attached, and any questions for the government should be noted for consideration. The government may request clarification as needed, and formal responses will be issued through an official procurement amendment.
