THIS IS A PRESOLICIATION NOTICE NOT A SOLICITATION. A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT June 24, 2025. The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System currently has a requirement for a project to replace the existing fire alarm system in its entirety specifically with Notifier equipment so that all buildings will communicate to the new main Honeywell/Notifier panel within Building 225. CTVHCS is located at 1901 Veterans Memorial Dr. Temple, TX 76504. General Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to replace the existing fire alarm system in its entirety. The contractor will also provide installation, testing, and commissioning services to ensure that the system meets all operational and compliance standards. All fire alarm panels shall have printed labels that clearly identifies all buttons (elevator, A/V, etc.). The Contractor shall ensure that all new panels and equipment are not located within IT closets. The notification system shall have voice commands. This is a phased project in which the Medical Center must remain in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All work shall be done in accordance with the SOW. The SOW will be posted with the solicitation. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $45M. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
