The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, and supervision for the replacement of two existing rooftop kitchen exhaust fans at Building 200 located in the Northport VA Medical Center to meet the latest NFPA 101 Life Safety, NFPA 99 Health Care Facilities, VA Design Standards and other applicable state and federal guidelines and regulations in accordance with the Statement of Work, Specifications and Drawings. This project will be 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). Competition for this procurement is restricted to verified SERVICE- DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) Contractors. The SDVOSB must be a small business under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in SBA s Small Business Search https://search.certifications.sba.gov/ and https://www.sam.gov. Magnitude of Construction: Between $250,000 and $500,000. Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Price. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and Size Standard is $45.0 million. Period of Performance is within 250 Calendar Days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate additional administrative scope to the scope of work. Scope of work - Continued Information Security/Privacy/ Records Management This contract does not involve access to VA patient/employee information and does not involve access and/or connection to the VA information system. VA Privacy Training for Personnel without Access to VA Computer Systems or Direct Access to or the Use of VA Sensitive Information The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA must comply with all applicable privacy and confidentiality statutes and regulations. One of the requirements in VA is to have all personnel trained annually on privacy requirements. Privacy represents what must be protected by VA in the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information whether the medium is electronic, paper or verbal. This document (20939 training) satisfies the basic privacy training requirement for a contractor, volunteer, or other personnel only if the individual does not use VA sensitive information or protected health information (PHI) in any form such as electronic or paper or have access to any VA computer system. The Contracting Officer Representative (COR/ COTR/ Project Manager) is responsible to obtain this training from the contractor and to maintain according to the Records Control Schedule (RCS 10-1).
