Sources Sought to Replace Telecommunications Lines from Headquarters to the Visitor Center at Puukohola Heiau National Historic Site (PUHE), Hawaii This is a Sources Sought announcement to be used for preliminary market research purposes only. No bids are being requested or accepted from this announcement. THIS IS NOT A SOLICICTATION FOR BIDS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The type of solicitation to issue will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made by the Government for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis of a follow up information. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small business (SDVOSB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small business (EDWOSB), and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price contract. The National Park Service, ConOps West, has a requirement to Replace Telecommunications Lines from Headquarters to the Visitor Center at Puukohola Heiau National Historic Site (PUHE), Hawaii Work will consist of the following: The park visitor center and headquarters area are approximately 1,000 linear feet apart. There are telecommunication lines (fiber & copper) that run between these two areas along a concrete pedestrian trail used primarily by park service personnel. This project will install approximately 1,000 linear feet of new telecommunication lines within the existing buried conduit between the visitor center and the headquarters area including new wires, new panels on both ends, connections to existing systems, and troubleshooting to ensure proper operation. This project also includes removal and proper disposal of all existing telecommunications wires and approximately 500 linear feet of conduit currently laying on the ground uphill of the concrete pedestrian trail. Place of performance will be Puukohola Heiau National Historic Site (PUHE), Hawaii. The site is located approximately 1 hour drive north of Kailua-Kona near Kawaihae. The acquisition is subject to the North American industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS code is $19M. Vendors responding to this sources sought notice should include the following information: 1.
