PRE-SOLICITATION MRG RIPRAP RED CANYON BLASTING This Pre-Solicitation Notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes; is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government may retain and use any information received from this Pre-Solicitation Notice to determine the best acquisition strategy for future procurement. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. The submission of any information in response to this pre-solicitation notice is purely voluntary. Project Description: The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Basin, Albuquerque Area Office, has a requirement to blast to produce 50,000 cubic yards of 16-24-inch riprap at Red Canyon Mine located 8 miles Southwest from Socorro, NM (Figure 1). The work will be done under Reclamation s Bureau of Land Management Mineral Material Free Use Permit, (NMNM106326361). Reclamation will utilize the riprap for river maintenance and flood control projects as authorized in the Flood Control Act of 1948. Period of Performance: Anticipated period of performance is November 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026. Contract Type: The Government is anticipating a Firm Fixed price construction contract for this project. Business Type: This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses NAICS & Size Standard: North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 212321 and size standard of 500 employees.
