Furnish and install three outdoor three-phase station service transformers and perform associated electrical, protection, and structural work at Glen Canyon Powerplant and Lake Powell Switchyard in Arizona. Remove two existing station service transformers and replace with three new units: two 3.75/4.687 MVA transformers with 13.8 kV high-side and 4.16 kV low-side (150 kV/75 kV BIL, 6.5% impedance, tap changes 2.5% and 5%, natural ester insulation); and one 3.75/4.687 MVA transformer with 25 kV high-side and 4.16 kV low-side (same impedance and insulation). The project also includes installing neutral grounding resistors, modifying buswork on the low- and high-side as specified, adding an interrupter switch, replacing transformer protection relays with three new relays, installing six current transformers, removing and replacing transformer containment, routing 5 kV cable through the plant, about 2,000 feet of 25 kV armored cable via tunnel and underground conduit, installing three single-pole fused disconnect switches, and replacing three surge arresters. Estimated construction magnitude is $10–$25 million.

This is market research for a future competitive procurement. Respondents should provide a capabilities statement demonstrating the ability to perform all required work, including company information, SBA program status, and verifiable SBA certification, transformer manufacturer information (name and country of origin), Buy American/Trade Agreements compliance documentation, estimated transformer lead times, input on market conditions and price adjustments, transformer pricing indices used, and bonding capacity (aggregate and single-project). Submit responses via email to the contracting officer.
