Special Notice Special Notice Page 3 of 3 Special Notice *= Required Field Special Notice Page 1 of 3 NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLICIT USING OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION Department of Veterans Affairs The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a succeeding lease using other than full and open competition for the Sanford CBOC, an existing lease, located in Sanford, NC Carolina. The current lease is expiring February 28, 2026. Requirement State: Sanford City: North Carolina Delineated Area: North: Intersection of Jefferson Highway and Highway 421 South: Intersection of Tramway Road and Jefferson Davis Highway East: Intersection of Tramway Road and Highway 421 West: Intersection of Tramway Road and Jefferson Davis Highway Minimum RSF: 11,285 Maximum RSF: 11,285 Space Type: Office Space All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Occupancy, the space is required on or before March 1, 2026. Lease term will be 5 years; 3-year firm fixed price plus 2 additional soft terms. The Department of Veterans Affairs is interested in considering alternative space if economically advantageous; otherwise, the department of Veteran Affairs intends to pursue a sole source lease acquisition with the current Lessor located at 3112 Tramway Road, Sanford, NC 27330. The Department of Veterans Affairs will consider the cost of moving, tenant improvements, etc., when deciding whether the Sanford CBOC should relocate.
