Summary

AI-generated · Aug 24, 2025

Windscreen De-Icing Research/Development requires development work on heater films used for de-icing windscreens, focusing on Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) and Aluminum-doped Zinc Oxide (AZO) coatings that meet specific electrical resistance and optical transmission requirements. The effort is sole-sourced to Acree Technologies Inc. due to their unique, extensive R&D experience in ITO/AZO coatings and because their vacuum coating chamber with magnetron sputtering can uniformly coat the flat coupons needed for the project.

If your firm believes it can fulfill the requirements, submit a capability statement referencing solicitation N6893625Q5105 within the stated response window, detailing relevant experience, assets, background, and ability to perform without compromising quality, schedule, or results. All responsible sources must be SAM-registered; new or updated SAM registrations require a notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator tied to the DUNS number, and processing this information may take several days to complete.
