PROJECT'S NAME: West Muddy Creek #5 Bridge Replacement - Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre, and Gunnison National Forests *****************SEE THE ATTACHED PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR MORE DETAILS************************ Description: The base of work consists of the West Muddy #5 Bridge replacement due to structural deficiency. The project will restore access to NFSR 261 to accommodate highway loading vehicles (85,000-pound vehicle configurations) utilizing AASHTO LRFD RL-93 loadings. Work shall be performed as shown in the Project Drawings and specified in the Project Specifications and in accordance with the Statement of Work once released with the solicitation. Responses to this Pre-solicitation (in the form of a Statement of Capability ONLY) are due within 15 days of this pre-solicitation (by August 26, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Central Time) and shall be submitted via email to Contracting Specialist, Janice King at Janice.King@usda.gov.

NOTICE OF AWARD - January 5, 2026 This notification is being issued to inform contractors that the Muddy Creek #4 and #5 Bridge Replacement Project - Contract #: 1240LT26C0003 Solicitation#: 1282B125R0046, was awarded on January 5, 2025. Five (5) Contractors responded to the Solicitation. The awarded contractor was GCS LLC with an overall bid of $2,402,090.
